Former Southampton and England professional footballer who made over 440 league and cup appearances plus eight England caps.  He is now a popular member of the Sky Sports Soccer Saturday panel.

Format of the day

• Tournament reception opens at 10.00am, with coffee and bacon rolls on arrival
• Shotgun start at 12pm midday
• 3 course sit down dinner to follow golf with prize giving, auction and celebrity entertainment

The course

Located in the heart of green belt country, the 6,428 yard parkland course is one of the most outstanding of the Hertfordshire golf courses. Picturesque, superbly maintained and flanked by magnificent trees, it presents a challenging, but ultimately enjoyable and playable course for golfers of all standards.

The tournament

Team Competition: Fourball Betterball Stableford (best two of four scores to count)

Handicap allowance: Men 24, Ladies 36

The cost

£750 per team. A team consists of either three amateurs and a celebrity captain (provided by Sparks) or four amateurs (no celebrity).
