Tell us your story

Sharing your experience is a really important way you can help both Sparks and other families like yours.

It can give those in a similar situation a source of strength and inspiration, and it shows people why funding medical research into childhood conditions is so vital.

You might have experience of dealing with one of the conditions we research, like pre-eclampsia, neuroblastoma or cerebral palsy. Or you might have had a great family fundraising experience that could inspire people to get involved in future events.

Whether you’re a parent, a sibling, a grandparent, aunt, uncle or friend, we’d like to hear from you. How much you share is up to you.

Share your story

  • Tell us a little bit about your experience, including your involvement with Sparks so far (eg have you done any fundraising for us or attended any of our events).

A short message of encouragement or an in-depth story is equally welcome. Read some of our family stories here.

We’d like to use some of your stories in our fundraising materials, to bring our research to life and encourage peo

ple to get involved. Sometimes we use family stories to raise awareness in the media, click here for more details about media involvement for families.

We will always get your full consent before using your story to promote our work.
