To help us fund more research across the UK, we are building a network of fundraising groups to help us raise the money we need.

If you’ve got some time to spare and are passionate about helping us make a real difference to children’s lives, you can be part of something special.

Starting a Sparks group means you can bring people together who share your interests and goals while raising money and awareness to help us give children the best start in life.

It’s easy to set up a Sparks group that fits into your life, however much time you want to give. Add a fundraising element to things you and your friends already do, or form a group from scratch with friends, family or colleagues to organise events in your area.

We’ll support you

We can provide the support, advice and resources you need to make your fundraising a success. Your community efforts can help us spread the word about our work and increase the number of babies and children we can help each year.

• A passion, knowledge and understanding of the community in which you live
• Pro-active, self-motivated with lots of initiative
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Contacts with friends, family and in your local area who can support your efforts
