Simone and John  are part of a family wide effort to raise a huge £10,000 for Sparks, inspired by their cousin Sasha’s son Marcus, who sadly lost his life to the childhood cancer neuroblastoma.

On July 11th Simone embarked on a London to Paris sponsored cycle challenge.  She will aim to cover 282 miles, reaching the French capital in just four days.  By day she is a personal trainer and has put in months of training for this immense challenge.

In September, John will take up the baton by running Great North Run to boost the fundraising total even further. Simone and John’s dedication stems from losing Marcus and their drive is born of a desire to prevent others experiencing the same loss they did.
