Celebrating 21 years of funding vital research
On 30th April, we celebrated 21 years of funding pioneering medical research with a reception at the House of Lords, which was kindly hosted by Sparks’ Trustee Baroness Benjamin.
It was a fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate the research we have funded for children’s health alongside our key supporters, medical researchers and families. We are looking forward to achieving a lot more in the future.

So far we have invested over £22 million in more than 230 medical research projects into conditions affecting babies, children and mums-to-be.
Our research aims to improve the quality of life for children and families affected by serious illness or disability today, whilst seeking ways to better diagnose, treat and prevent these conditions in the future.
But with £7.7 million committed over the next three years and more requests every day, we need your help more than ever to continue improving and saving lives. Click here to find out how you can get involved or make a donation here.
Thank you so much to everyone who attended the reception at the House of Lords. We look forward to working with you in the future to build on the success of the past 21 years.
