Families in the media
At Sparks we aim to raise awareness of the importance of paediatric research and ensuring that children’s health gets the attention it deserves from the media.
This is vital in order to increase our profile, boost fundraising and enable us to fund more research going forward.
Journalists are often keen to hear personal stories from families, which demonstrate the impact that certain conditions and disabilities can have on a child, as well as the wider family.
We work closely with journalists to ensure that interviews are handled sensitively and always speak to families before putting a journalist in touch.
We love to hear from families keen to share their story. To find out more, please contact Jemma South on 0207 340 0696 or email press@sparks.org.uk
We will always ask your full consent before using your story in the media.
