We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to help drive a major charity campaign that aims to raise £10m over the next four years.
In 2017, Sparks joined GOSH Charity and together, we will fund more pioneering national research to find new ways to diagnose, treat and cure childhood diseases. In April 2019 we will launch our Sparks fundraising campaign, which will become the umbrella theme for all Sparks fundraising, communications and brand activity in 2019 and beyond. We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to deliver the digital elements of both this campaign and all Sparks fundraising.
About the Team
The 16-strong Digital Engagement team, sitting within our wider Brand Marketing department, is responsible for the digital presence of GOSH, GOSH Charity and Sparks. Together, we manage websites, social media, email marketing, digital content, insight and analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and SEO – all to increase fundraising and raise brand awareness. We work in a multi-channel way, with one person in the team taking ownership of a campaign/project and working with the wider Digital Engagement team to bring it to life.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of creating and managing digital campaigns with an emphasis on social media marketing and Facebook advertising, with proven skills in PPC planning and managing budgets. You will also have experience in email marketing, creating website content and managing updates ongoing, with a clear understanding of SEO.
Specifically, you will have:
• Experience of integrated content development across range of channels and audiences, with demonstrable results.
• Good stakeholder management and influencing skills with an ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
• A firm editorial grasp and a talent for writing creative, compelling and engaging copy for different audiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• CMS skills (proficient in WordPress, Drupal experience would be an advantage).
The ideal candidate will also have:
• Good project management skills (experience leading a digital campaign would be preferable).
• Experience in using email marketing software to create, manage and report on email campaigns. (Adestra and Marketing Cloud an advantage)
• Experience of generating sensitive content, including interviewing and filming patient and family stories.
