Your host
Britain’s World Superbike rider Leon Haslam, hosts a day at Wellingborough Golf Club, Northampton. Leon, son of Ron ‘The Rocket’ Haslam, is currently riding for the BMW team but has also competed for Honda; Suzuki and Ducati. In the 2010 World Championships Leon came close to winning the title, finishing second overall whilst riding for Suzuki.
Format of the day
- Tournament reception opens at 9:30am am with coffee and bacon rolls on arrival
- Two-tee start from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
- Celebration three-course dinner in lawn marquee
- Prize giving & auction followed by celebrity entertainment
The course
Wellingborough Golf Club is a private members’ club situated at the 18th century Harrowden Hall in the heart of 
Northamptonshire. Set in over 160 acres of quiet, secluded private grounds, the 18 hole par 72 rolling parkland course is a test for golfers of all abilities.
The tournament
Team Competition: Fourball Betterball Stableford (best two of four scores to count)
Handicap allowance: Men 24, Ladies 36
The cost
£495 per team. A team consists of either 3 amateurs and a celebrity captain (provided by Sparks) or 4 amateurs (no celebrity).
