|
SPARKS would like to say thank you to all involved in this year’s Property Bang Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot on 8th September. The annual shoot was held in the beautiful surroundings of the Royal Berkshire Shooting School and was blessed with a superb late summers day. 23 teams of 4 from the property world were joined by SPARKS celebrity patrons to shoot it out to be top gun and avoid the embarrassing ‘clay conservationist prize’. The celebrities who participated included the actor Bernard Cribbins Ex Rugby Internationals Tony Underwood, Chris Sheasby, Damian Cronin and ‘Birthday Boy’ Victor Ubogu. The day ended with a champagne reception, four course lunch and charity auction which raised a huge £12,000 for SPARKS related medical research projects. |

The inaugural SPARKS Charity Cup on Sunday 11th July was a great success. Huge congratulations to Kingston Colts, who won the competition and only let in the one goal, well done! The competition was made up of a mixture of teams ranging from Surrey schools teachers to local pub teams. With ‘keepy uppy’ competitions and penalty shoot outs as well as other fundraising activities, the day raised over £750. SPARKS would like to a big thank you to all involved including Imber Court, the referees, the face painters, the BBQ chef, the raffle ticket sellers and, of course, the teams themselves. We aim to make this event a permanent fixture in SPARKS’ sports calendar and would love all those who took part to join us again next year. For more information on the SPARKS Charity Cup please contact Paul Munro or Clare Lewis on 020 7799 2111 or email [email protected] or [email protected]. |
