Good Luck Andy!

Best of luck to Sparks supporter Andy Jaye, Regional Commercial Manager UK&I at IAG Cargo, who is taking on the tough 109km Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour in South Africa to raise money for Sparks.

This is the world’s largest individually time cycle race with over 35,000 cyclists taking the route around Cape Town described as being “as spectacular as it is gruelling”!

Andy says of the challenge “I have never attempted a long distance ride and I must say I have found the training extremely challenging. Although apprehensive, I am looking forward to the challenge and the opportunity to raise money for Sparks a most wonderful children’s charity.”

IAG Cargo has supported Sparks as their chosen charity partner since 2013 raising more than £110,000 to date and Andy himself has played a key role in this by helping organise the annual Charity Ball in aid of Sparks. We are extremely grateful to Andy for taking on the hilly terrain and pedalling through the kilometres all in aid of our pioneering medical research for babies, children and expectant women.
