Sparks supporter Andy Jaye, Regional Commercial Manager UK&I at IAG Cargo, earlier this week took on a gruelling cycling adventure for Sparks – the 109km Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour in South Africa.
This is the world’s largest individually time cycle race with over 35,000 cyclists taking the route around Cape Town described as being “as spectacular as it is gruelling”!
Pedalling through hilly terrain was made worthwhile with the generosity of family, friends and colleagues spurring him on. Andy has raised over £1,600 so far for Sparks which is a fantastic amount to individually raise for our children’s medical research. Over the next 5 years Sparks will be focussing on our research strategy that aims to invest further into premature birth and rare disease research and support like this is crucial to us achieving this.
