How to get the most from your online giving page
- Set up your page on either Justgiving or Virgin Money Giving
- Be sure to personalise your page to make your ask compelling e.g. explain why you are doing the challenge to Sparks
- Add to your Facebook and Twitter profile
- Post your fundraising page on our Facebook wall, send us a tweet to @SparksCharity
- Include a link on your email signature at work (be sure to get your boss’ permission)
- Include a link with any invitations that you are sending out for birthdays and anniversaries, along with your Christmas cards
- Add the Sparks YouTube video that shows what we do
Put the fun into fundraising!
Set up your online giving page and circulate to friends, family and colleagues
Host a sweepstake at work. The winner keeps half the money and the rest can go towards your fundraising target.
Why not hold a cake sale at work or host a Quiz Night at a local venue and charge £5 for tickets – Get our special Sparks Quiz. There is always afternoon tea – ask your friends to pay what they think it’s worth! Hold a raffle at work or maybe organise a 5-a-side tournament?
