Fundraising made easy

We’re here to help you with fundraising and have created some handy hints on how to break down your target into simple fundraising initiatives.

How to get the most from your online giving page

  • Set up your page on either Justgiving or Virgin Money Giving
  • Be sure to personalise your page to make your ask compelling e.g. explain why you are doing the challenge to Sparks
  • Add to your Facebook and Twitter profile
  • Post your fundraising page on our Facebook wall, send us a tweet to @SparksCharity
  • Include a link on your email signature at work (be sure to get your boss’ permission)
  • Include a link with any invitations that you are sending out for birthdays and anniversaries, along with your Christmas cards
  • Add the Sparks YouTube video that shows what we do

Put the fun into fundraising!

Set up your online giving page and circulate to friends, family and colleagues

Host a sweepstake at work. The winner keeps half the money and the rest can go towards your fundraising target.

Why not hold a cake sale at work or host a Quiz Night at a local venue and charge £5 for tickets – Get our special Sparks Quiz. There is always afternoon tea – ask your friends to pay what they think it’s worth! Hold a raffle at work or maybe organise a 5-a-side tournament?
