The Jason Leonard Celebrity Classic celebrated its 8th year with 83 golfers joining current RFU President and England’s highest cap player of all time, Jason Leonard, at Foxhills Golf Club in Surrey.
With 9 days to go until the start of the Rugby World Cup, the players enjoyed a privileged insight into what might happen through the tournament thanks to a Q&A with Jason. World Golf Trick Shot Champion Geoff Swain was then assisted by Jason in entertaining the golfers before tee off.
In total, 21 teams took part with some notable faces joining them from the Rugby world, including Scotland and ex-Lions player Craig Chalmers and former England manager, Roger Uttley.

Over the 8 years, the event has raised nearly £250,000 for Sparks to help us fund pioneering children’s medical research and this year’s event alone raised £15,000.
