Oliver’s Wish Foundation hosts second Rugby Fun Day

The second Oliver’s Wish Foundation Rugby Fun Day took place on 27 May at Crawley Rugby Club, with a host of rugby legends and entertainment for all the family. The event was in support of Sparks and other children’s charities the Lullaby Trust and Chestnut Tree House.

The centrepiece of the day was an exhibition match between northern and southern hemisphere legends sides, full of ex-internationals.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part on the day and those who volunteered their time for some very worthwhile causes, and a very special thanks to Rob and Anna Dowling for their continued support of Sparks.

About the foundation

The Oliver’s Wish Foundation raises money and awareness for charities that support babies, children and young people, in memory of Oliver Dowling, who tragically passed away in his sleep in the autumn of 2015.

The first Rugby Fun Day in 2016 brought in a crowd of more than 2,000 and raised £30,000 for charity.
